Texarkana Black Mambas Track club was established in 2020 under the direction and leadership of Henry Black. Henry Black is a former athlete, father, and coach. I am a 7th grade Social Studies teacher for Texarkana Arkansas School District where he serves as a role model and support system for the students. Coach Black works diligently with students daily to teach them vital life skills including confidence, self-worth, leadership, decision making, anger management, teamwork, and other generalizable skills. Coach Black’s mission is to reach the children in our community through athletics by teaching the basic and advanced fundamentals of track and field. Coach Black has staffed a team of volunteer coaches, athletes, and parents to help assist making his vison a reality.
